Our history
Much more than just a bar
Guided by passion and love for his profession, Giuseppe Rinaldis since 1989 gives life to the "Antica Pasticceria Gelateria Caffettiera del Tocco", located in the main square of the beautiful medieval village of Gerace.
In this wonderful square a few steps from the main door of the city, you find yourself in front of the pastry-ice cream parlor which has been included in the “Il gambero Rosso” guide for years in the various sections: pastry, ice cream and street food in Italy.
The restaurant has a wonderful outdoor space where you can easily sit, relax and immerse yourself in the pleasant atmosphere that this offers. Inside you can enjoy unique aromas and flavors, but also the friendliness and elegance of the staff willing to satisfy your every need.
The owner and Master Giuseppe Rinaldis takes care of all the products present, obviating their quality and healthiness criteria.
Particular attention is paid to the "Granite" department which in the summer season boasts a choice of about 25 flavors of fresh seasonal fruit, dried fruit, but also inventions that the Master himself proposes every day.
Not in the background the ice cream and artisan pastry department, but also the aperitif and lunch offer, which is mainly based on locally produced products that enhance the territory.
